Two domestic programmes, one called Saúde Pa nos Bairro (health for our deprived areas, access to health for inhabitants in Loures) and one called Rotas para a Saúde (wheels for health: project with sex workers) have not been financed by public authorities since august 2011. Nonetheless MdM Portugal chose to go on ensuring access to health promotion, providing consultations and referral, sensitizing on HIV, hepatitis, cardio vascular risks... in Loures.
